Built, Private Comission — Barcelona, Spain.
Mas Berenguer, a traditional catalan house (Masia) had an old unused stable. The intervention that required this space had to be very basic, both in money and labour, but needed a big amount of common sense. It had natural light and ventilation, but the ceiling was a bit too low. As we had to lower the ground and find a solution to work with the fragile precedent construction, a structural basebord was used both as a technical and aesthetical solution.
